MEC is a restaurant, or rather as his founder says "it is a museum that integrates with a restaurant and a restaurant that is also a museum".
In fact, in the evening, it turns into a fine dining restaurant, whose peculiarity, which makes it unique of its kind, is to dine inside the exhibition halls surrounded by display cases containing very rare Apple IT pieces, in a suggestive atmosphere, in the heart of the historic center of Palermo and with a breathtaking view of the Cathedral.

The Cellar

Discover our wine selection

The cellar, meticulously incorporated within the exhibition space, with its wines that become actors and protagonists of the museum show, hosts 700 evolving labels that encompass the world of wine with particular attention to the Sicilian territory, a source of great pride for us and research.

Lounge Bar & Literary Café

Themed short films, posters and the most iconic characters from Pixar's fantastic adventures enliven the Lounge Bar space, bringing back memories of the best times of childhood for an aperitif or after-dinner drink with a slightly magical and playful flavour.

MEC has been conceived as a creative and innovative hub, where the combination of art, technology, innovation and food is the true fulcrum of everything.
In addition to the seven rooms of the museum, where the 8 thematic areas unfold, retracing the life of the founder of Apple and the evolution of his products from 1976 to present, the structure has a literary café that functions as a coworking space; but also as a cultural exchange center.

Forty years old, a disciple of Nino Graziano, with a training path studded with important collaborations in the most prestigious Italian restaurants, Carmelo Trentacosti ensures that his dishes stand out for their subtle, never exaggerated flavours that highlight a unique refinement.
