With a view over the faraglioni of Lipari lies the Michelin starred restaurant of Therasia Resort Sea & Spa, the sole five-star entity on the island of Vulcano. Chef Giuseppe Biuso reworks the generous local cuisine with fantasy and feeling. A refined and elegant atmosphere outlined by gentle lines and soft colors that woo guests in the dining room along with maître Salvio Di scala and sommelier Andrea Pizzi.

Elegant colours, the long and gentle lines of the arches, the warmth of the light at sunset: this is “I Faraglioni”, the exclusive lounge bar of Therasia Resort Sea & Spa. At dusk, comfortably sitting on the sofas on the terrace, while sipping a drink or a glass of wine, you can enjoy breath-taking views of the entire resort, accompanied by the rhythm of live music.

Comfortable and charming, close to the beautiful infinity pool of the resort, “I Russuri” bar is an ideal place for a break, a quick snack or a drink at sunset. Russuri is a sicilian word for mean sunset. Simple and fresh ingredients for a light and appetizing interpretation of the Sicilian and Mediterranean tradition; cocktails, selected wines and delicious snacks to fully enjoy a relaxing aperitif at sunset.

Giuseppe Biuso, born in 1988, is the Executive Chef of the Vulcano Therasia Resort, as well as being in charge of the gourmet restaurant, Il Cappero. Although very young, he moved between famous kitchens such as those of Corrado Fasolato, Nino Di Costanzo, Hans Välimäki and Antonio Cannavacciuolo. The difficulties of a large structure on a very small island do not discourage him from offering creative and ambitious cuisine.
