Founded in 2001 by Diego and Alberto Cusumano in Partinico where the winery is located, it produces fine wines in five different estates: Ficuzza in Piana degli Albanesi in the province of Palermo, San Giacomo in Butera (Caltanissetta), Presti e Pegni and Monte Pietroso in the hills of Monreale, San Carlo in Partinico (Palermo). In 2013 the Family founded Alta Mora on Mount Etna, enclosing under a new brand the wines from Contrada Guardiola, Pietramarina, Verzella, Feudo di Mezzo and Solicchiata on Etna.
