Tenuta di Fessina

Tenuta di Fessina was born in 2007 by Silvia Maestrelli, and is located at 700 meters of altitude in Rovittello, on the North-Eastern side of the Volcano. Fessina is enclosed between two semicircular lava flows that protects our terroir as natural amphitheatre. Our project starting from the Carricante’s in Milo and Biancavilla and ending with the core of our winery in Rovittello, a place where the sandy and light volcanic soil and the average 80’- 90’ years old original rootstock Nerello Mascalese vines are able to give a unique Etna Rosso D.O.C.
