Accursio Craparo

Originally from Sciacca but Modican by adoption, Accursio Craparo returned to Sicily after gaining experience in Northern Italy and in Europe: among which, at the court of Pietro Leemann and later Massimiliano Alajmo. His return to Modica brought with it the conquering of a Michelin star in 2008, as Executive Chef of La Gazza Ladra Restaurant. Soon after he opened the restaurant that bares his name, a project that led him once again to a Michelin star in 2016.
