She grew up in the world of restaurants and hospitality at Signum together with her parents and her brother Luca. She immediately followed in the footsteps of her father in the kitchen, enrolling at the Instituto Alberghi di Cefalù and later attending the Gambero Rosso Cooking School in Rome with excellent results. Her experiences in kitchens ranged from the Roman capital to London. In 2015 Martina Caruso was awarded her first Michelin star.
