Pietro La Torre discovered his passion for cooking as a child, when his large family gathered every Sunday around the stove, each with a task. His father's simple Apulian cuisine was his first love, the spark that ignited dreams and ambitions: to work to excite and thrill. Moving to Germany as a child, at age fourteen he began working in his first professional kitchen, with the goal of learning every culinary secret.
A trip to Sicily in Canicattì changed his life permanently. During his sister's wedding at age sixteen, he met Milena, who a few years later became his wife and mainstay. At eighteen, Pietro moved to Canicattì, marking the beginning of a new adventure that would lead him to become a renowned chef.
