Coria restaurant was founded in 2008 in the historic center of Caltagirone, 200 meters from the famous steps of S.M. del Monte. The creators of the Coria project are two young chefs, Domenico Colonnetta and Francesco Patti who, after years of experience in prestigious restaurant kitchens, decided to bet on their skills and conquer the most demanding of palates by revisiting Sicilian character under a contemporary light. Coria has ben reviewed by the most important gastronomic guides and in 2012 received its first Michelin Star.

The cellar

Domenico and Francesco offer their guests an attentive selection of the best Sicilian, national and international labels.

As well as the kitchen, Coria also focuses particular attention to the wine cellar, which is continuously growing and evolving. The pairing of food and wine is fundamental for a restaurant which draws inspiration from the best of regional tradition.

Domenico Colonnetta and Francesco Patti, after experiences in the kitchens of prestigious restaurants such as that of Ciccio Sultano, decided to bet on their skills. They founded Coria restaurant in Caltagirone in 2008, which received its first Michelin star in 2012. Colonnetta was born in Reggio Calabria in 1980 and attended the Istituto Alberghiero of Modica. Patti is originally from Caltagirone, he studied at the Hotel Giarre and was among the youngest Sicilian chefs to have conquered a Michelin star.
